OMG, what a jaw-dropping stay! The hosts were super friendly and not intrusive at all. The spacious yet cosy Cottage had amazing heating - perfect for chilly nights. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The location was mind-blowingly excellent for exploring Forest of Dean. And let's not forget the free scones with jam and clotted cream - such a treat! The value for money was incredible, and having two friendly pubs within walking distance was a bonus. Plus, there was wi-fi, free parking, pets allowed, and a strict no smoking policy. Such an awesome experience overall!

The property had a rad garden, perfect for chilling and having a chilled-out BBQ. And guess what? The place was just a short drive away from Cabot Circus, where we had a blast shopping for trendy clothes and stuff. The Stables had everything we needed for our epic getaway!

The only thing that would've made our stay even more epic would be if there was a cool game room or maybe a pool table. We're young party-goers, after all, and having some extra fun activities would've taken the experience to the next level.

We had a blast exploring the garden and chilling in the lounge. And even though it was a bit far from Cabot Circus, we loved the peaceful farm setting. It was just the vibe we needed.

The only thing we would've loved more is if there was a cool game room or a pool table. That would've taken our party to the next level and made our stay at The Stables even more epic.

Lovely cottage, cozy and spacious. Great heating and comfortable bed. Friendly hosts. Excellent location for exploring the Forest of Dean. Stayed at another property due to maintenance issue, but still enjoyable.

TV only had Channels 1 & 2, couldn't watch the Rugby World Cup. Total disaster.

I had a really enjoyable stay at a charming cottage. The hosts were welcoming and not intrusive at all. The cottage itself was spacious yet cozy, and the heating system was great, especially the woodburner. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location was fantastic, perfect for exploring the beautiful Forest of Dean. The cream tea treat was a lovely touch and the village shop and pub were conveniently located within an easy walk. I had a thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this cottage to others for a relaxing getaway.

We recently stayed at the Stables Villa and had a warm welcome from the hosts. the cottage was spacious yet cosy, with great heating options. the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep and the location was perfect for exploring the Forest of Dean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of a Cream Tea and all the amenities ready to use. Despite a last-minute maintenance issue, the owner accommodated us in their other property in Severn Beach, which was also lovely and easily accessible. Cons: All was good 😊.

Cottage-style accommodation in a quiet farm setting. Basic but comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom, and adequate kitchen. Friendly and helpful hosts. Complementary scones, butter, and clotted cream. Pub and village shop within walking distance.

I had a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, who were helpful but not intrusive. The Cottage itself was spacious yet cosy, and both the central heating and woodburner kept me warm and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was excellent for exploring the nearby Forest of Dean. Additionally, the welcome Cream Tea and provision of milk, tea, and other supplies were a nice touch.

    It was all superb.

Fantastic location for exploring the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. Loved the warm welcome by the friendly hosts and the spacious yet cozy cottage. the comfortable bed and the well-equipped kitchen were definitely a plus. the complementary scones with jam and clotted cream were a delightful treat. Great value for money and a lovely touch to have a pub and a village shop within easy walking distance.

The WiFi was not working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. there were several blown or missing lightbulbs in the cottage.
